Handmade Floral Basket Appliqué Quilt Throw 73 x 56.5

Handmade large throw quilt combining repurposed quilt-piece appliqué with all-over floral machine quilting. The white front is decorated with colorful flower baskets and individual floral motifs. These appliqués appear to have been cut from an older pieced and quilted textile and repurposed onto this quilt. The edges are secured with decorative blanket-style stitching. The appliqué fabrics include multi color small-scale prints for a colorful patchwork look. The surrounding white field is machine quilted in an all-over floral, leaf and scrolling design.
