Vintage solid green fabric measuring just over 2 yards long x approximately 44 inches wide. (over 2 lbs -- be mindful of weight if bundling)
A lovely period shade of leaf/avocado green with a smooth, matte surface and a good substantial hand. This is a medium-weight, tightly woven fabric that feels very much like a good sturdy cotton, although the fiber content is unknown and it may be a cotton blend.
The fabric has enough body for structured garments while remaining flexible rather than stiff. It would be well suited to skirts, dresses, jumpers, lightweight jackets, pants, bags, home sewing, quilting or other vintage-inspired projects.
Estimated to date from approximately the late 1960s–1970s, based on the fabric, width and color; exact age and fiber content are unknown.
The small regularly spaced holes visible along the selvage are original manufacturing/selvage marks rather than damage.
Appears to be in very good vintage unused or minimally handled condition. As with all older stored fabric, washing or cleaning before use is recommended.
