Vintage MCM Japan Ceramic Furry Kittens in a Pink Basket

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic "furry kitten" figurine, and this is an especially cute two-kitten design with applied faux fur around the base. The simple "JAPAN" stamp and the big-eyed, hand-painted faces are consistent with Japanese export ceramics from the mid-20th century. They were made from 1950s-1960s. There are no cracks, chips or nicks. Faux fur is original. A little of the fur inside the pink basket, is a green color. I’m not sure why, it came that way. It doesn’t distract from the cuteness of these kittens.
