Vintage Floral Needlepoint Evening Bag Clutch Ornate Metal Frame

Charming vintage needlepoint evening bag featuring a richly detailed floral design in red, blue, green, gold and cream against a dramatic black border. The ornate metal frame has a classic kiss-lock closure, giving the bag a wonderful old-fashioned formal look. Although originally made with a chain, the chain is broken/detached at both sides, and the bag works beautifully as a handheld clutch. The exterior needlepoint remains attractive and displays very nicely. The dark interior lining shows visible spotting, surface soiling and residue from previous use.
