Cotton Floral Yukata with Obijime Cord

This type of kimono is called a Yukata. Typically made of 100% Cotton, they are worn primarily in summer months. This piece has a bold, beautiful floral print in a striking color palette of black, white and various shades of Pink. Very long, but can easily be hemmed to fit your height. This piece has a semi- sheer weave to the fabric; please see the last photo. The Yukata measures 25” across from the back, underarm to underarm, measured from the back, and 64” shoulder to hem. I am including the coordinated silk flat weave vintage Obijime (waist cord/tie) in pink that matches the flower petals, from my personal collection. Depending on your waist size it can be knotted or tied in a bow, as shown on my size XS dress form. NWOT. This 100% Cotton Yukata was purchased in the early 2000’s. I gifted it to my tall aunt back then but it was too big on her. Price is firm. I sell the silk Obijime cords for up to $30 on their own!
