Vintage Pink Panther Framed Mirror Gold Frame Carnival Prize Wall Art 1970s

A vintage Pink Panther wall mirror in its original gold tone frame, four and a half inches square overall. The character is rendered on the glass in bold pink and black line work, leaning back with his tail curled and a scatter of paw prints across the mirrored field, in the loose confident style of 1970s fair and carnival prize mirrors. The image sits on the reverse of the glass, so the mirrored surface stays smooth and the artwork is protected from wear. The frame is a slim gold tone moulding, intact and true, with the original backing board and hanging hardware in place. There is no maker mark anywhere on the piece, which is normal for prize mirrors of this type. The mirror is bright and clear with no desilvering, no cracks and no chips, and the frame shows light finish wear at the edges.
