Alexander McQueen Fall Winter 2010 Angels & Demons Runway Look 4 Dress In Black

Size: 40 IT (Measured Flat from outside, roughly: 18” pit-to-pit, Roughly 14” waist, 35” length on front, 38” length on back Condition: Amazing condition for a now 16 year old dress! The shop tag is still attached however I am not the original owner. The brand tag is detached from one corner (left as it is as it’s still secure and to keep it in its “natural” state). There are some small fabric/stitching imperfections (pictured). Features: Bouncy black wool crepe fabric, many folds and pleats, strong tailoring, plunging neck, folding robe illusion “pinned” by decorative button, bubble hem, zip closure at side, acetate/silk lining. There is also built-in access to the inside of lining from under the armpits via small gaps (this can be used to add inner structuring). This dress was seen in gold jacquard as part of look 4 on the runway. Additionally, a dancer was seen wearing one of the gold jacquard versions in Beyoncé’s Run the World (Girls) music video. Fall/Winter 2010 was Lee’s final (incomplete) collection before his passing. The original runway show was canceled and was replaced with a much more intimate show that showcased the 16 completed looks. The words “there is no more” were whispered at the end. The designs in this collection continued the graphic-heavy and voluminous folded styles from the previous collection; Plato’s Atlantis.
