Fall is upon us. Why not enter the season with style in this finely-crafted tweed coat by Paynter Jacket Co.? I ordered this directly from the company and watched the entire production process (fascinating). The coat is numbered 519 from batch no. 19.5 (the waitlist batch after 19 sold out). It's the women's A-line cut, and it wears like a dream. The fit is described as relaxed to fit layers underneath, and I found that to be true. The large has a 48.4in chest and is 43.9in long. I wore this coat a few times for one season, winter 2025, and it was an L.A. winter, so I can confidently say the coat is like new. Note that the company was still shipping U.S. orders from Europe in 2025, so the original price includes VAT and exorbitant international shipping.
