Vintage Solid Brass Gauri Goddess Face Trinket Box

This heavy solid cast brass lidded box features the beautifully stylized face of the Hindu Goddess Gauri. Traditionally used as a sacred kumkum or cosmetic container, it makes a stunning boho accent piece for a vanity, nightstand, or bookshelf styling. It measures about 4 inches long by 3 inches wide. While it isn't overly heavy, it has a really nice, solid weight to it in your hand. The box is in excellent vintage shape with a beautiful, authentic patina, and the lid fits together perfectly.
