1930's Wool Crepe Little Black Day Dress

A darling piece from my personal collection - 1930's black wool crepe day dress in a petite size. This is a wonderfully homemade piece with a wrap v-neckline, shirred tapered waist, and distinct pleated ribbon trim along front placket, faux pockets and cuffs. Small side metal zip closure, hidden snap buttons at chest and cuffs. This even comes with the original matching belt made of the same fabric! Estimated modern size XS. Note that this dress does not stretch and it is slipped on overhead. Measurements below are approximate and taken across lying flat. Shoulders - 14-14.5" Pit to pit - 16.5" Waist - 13" (smaller with the belt fastened) Length - 40" Very good condition - fabric is sturdy and the dress presents really well. Due to its age, it should still be handled and worn with care. Clean and ready to wear.
