Vintage 1970s Sculpted Floral Wax Candle 13” Fairycore

Incredible oversized vintage sculptural wax candle, believed to date to the 1970s. Ornate cream and antiqued gold scrollwork covered in dimensional roses and colorful flowers. The detail is amazing — at first glance it almost looks like carved or painted ceramic, but the entire piece is wax. Perfect fairycore, cottagecore, romantic maximalist, Rococo, grandmillennial or storybook princess decor. Such a cool statement piece for a mantel, vanity, bookshelf or romantic tablescape. Previously burned with a recessed area at the top and plenty of the original candle remaining. Beautiful displayed as-is, can be continued to be burned, or the recessed area could hold a small tea light/votive to help preserve the sculptural exterior. Vintage condition with age-related wax imperfections and previous burning as pictured. No maker label found.
