Vintage 3.84ct Genuine Blue Sapphire 10kt Yellow Gold

Beautiful Vintage Solid 10kt Yellow Gold, Genuine Earth Mined Light Blue Sapphire Ring. The clarity on this Blue Sapphire is second to None. It's sparkling and tested 9 on the Mohs Scale, which is just under the hardness of a diamond. Crafted by Town & Country Jewelry Incorporated around the late 1960s to 1970s. They went out of business in 1997, unfortunately though, because they were a top notch jewelry company. The Gem is in Like New condition and the gold has some normal scratches from age that gives it lovely character and if you prefer, you can certainly have it buffed by your jeweler. It's both hallmarked TCJI for the maker and 10kt gold, although I test everything to make sure. It's size 7 & 3/4. Gram weight is a nice weight of 3.75 grams, even though the greatest value is that of the Vintage, Craftsmanship of the Gold Setting & Gemstone. The Sapphire is oval faceted, no flaws with a 20x loupe and measures 12mm x 8mm and 5mm deep = approximately 3.84 carats.
