The Mid- Century Borghese Chalkware Couple was manufactured by Niepold’s, Inc of Gaithersburg, MD.
Beautiful Facial Details on Each
The Girl has one hand on her chin & other is holding her bonnet.
The Boy is holding a birds nest & is gazing at it.
The Couple measure 10 1/2” Tall, Base 3 3/4”
The Borghese Label is on the base of the girl.
There are several very small pencil point sized nicks in the glaze on each. Please see all photos as they are part of my description.
