This stunning 50s vintage dress features the prettiest yellow rose print on a creamy base. Uniquely there is a green chiffon overlay that adds a light, airy look to the skirt and a fun portion that comes off the shoulder that you could wear draped down or flung across like a scarf! The piece zips up the back with metal zipper. No tags to indicate maker so possibly hand made. Had original belt! Measurements are in photos, but it would likely best fit a modern medium. There is no give to the fabric! The garment is in fair vintage condition needs a bit of TLC- it has been cleaned already though!!! It looks like the prior owner tried to modify it by removing the chiffon from bodice but didn’t do the best job as some pieces still remain. I think if you continued that work it could look cute! The is only some minor wear to the chiffon on the skirt, though it seems to be a bit shorter than the skirt fabric that lays underneath. Some areas of pink discoloration to the creamy portion of the dress for some reason. Would be so fun as a project piece- could make an incredible costume! Wear to belt too.
