Vintage Rinometo Italy Black Textured Extremely Soft Open Cardigan Sweater OS

Beautiful vintage Rinometo Italy open-front cardigan with an incredibly soft, plush hand and dramatic dimensional texture. This unique piece features an all-over raised black looped/paisley-style textile design over a subtle deep burgundy/plum lace background. Finished with wide black rib-knit open-front trim, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a relaxed slouchy silhouette. The interior front is partially lined in black. The knit feels exceptionally soft and fuzzy, similar in hand to angora/rabbit-hair or an animal-hair blend; however, there is no fibre-content tag present, so the exact composition cannot be confirmed. I have not been able to locate reliable archival fibre information for this Rinometo style. No size tag is present.
