This hand carved wooden giraffe figure stands at 18 inches tall and is a beautiful piece of safari art from Africa. Each detail of the giraffe's body is carefully crafted by hand, making it a unique and charming collectible for animal lovers. The natural warmth and texture of the wood adds an extra element of authenticity to this piece, making it a striking addition to any collection or a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates wildlife and artistic craftsmanship. This is made of a very hard wood. It does have a line down the middle of its body. It looks like the sculpture had a crack in the wood when it was being carved. I don’t think this happened after this is a majestic piece. He feels a little bit like ironwood.
