Pre owned item in excellent condition for 18th C porcelain. See photos for item condition reporting. The overall style of the mark, coupled with the soft glaze and typical rim wear (chattering/chipping), strongly reinforces a production date in the late 18th century (circa 1770–1790s). During this era, Nevers was famous for rural "country decors" (décors champêtres) featuring ordinary folk, trees, and animals rendered with rapid, spirited brushstrokes. Portrays décors champêtres (pastoral folk scene), has a scalloped rim, and hand-painted cross and dots worker's mark on the reverse. Measures 9” D x 1.25 H
