Vintage Hull Pottery Hen on Nest covered casserole dish in the classic Brown Drip / Mirror Brown glaze. This wonderful two-piece piece features a highly detailed hen lid with molded feathers over a basket-textured nest base. The rich glossy chocolate brown glaze is accented by Hull's creamy drip glaze around the rim. The underside retains the vintage Hull USA oven-proof / bake-and-serve marking, identifying this as authentic American Hull pottery. Very good condition. One small chip on the very bottom and a rough spot in the glaze - shown in pics. No cracks or repairs noted.
