Vintage Zhostovo-Style Hand Painted‎ Oval Metal Tray Berry Folk Art Scalloped

Add a touch of Old World charm to your home with this beautifully hand-painted metal tray inspired by traditional European toleware artistry. This oval tray features a rich, deep black lacquered background adorned with vibrant red and golden berries, softly blended leaves, and delicate gold scrollwork along the scalloped border. The dimensional brushstrokes create a raised texture you can feel when running your fingers across the design — a lovely detail that gives the piece depth and character. While unsigned, the tray reflects the classic aesthetic of Russian Zhostovo-style decorative painting, known for dramatic florals and ornate borders. This piece is best described as Zhostovo-inspired folk art rather than an authenticated Russian factory example. • Approx. 13"long x 9" wide • Hand painted metal • Scalloped oval shape • Black painted back • Decorative use recommended Very nice vintage condition.
