Make a style statement in this wonderful, versatile tweed coat from Missoni Donna. Made in Italy, it features a big shawl collar, low button closure, pockets, and full satin lining. Generous armholes for ease of layering. The coat 'reads' orange but also has lots of red, yellow, bright green, turquoise blue, purple, marigold. The lining is nutmeg brown. Truly a go-with-everything piece that is also a statement and just plain fun to wear. Fabric content label is missing. I have some years of experience with fiber, and am guessing it's all wool or a majority-wool blend. It feels soft, supple, and cozy. Please note this is an estate sale item and probably vintage. It has a few flaws, notably some tiny holes in the lining and hand-stitching along the inside hem. See photos. No smells, tears, snags, or stains. Pocket linings are intact. Chest measures approx. 26.5" flat. Back neck to hem approx. 36.75" **Priced to sell! No more lowball offers!** I have reduced the price of this coat to the bare minimum. Proceeds from this sale (as well as other items added to my closet recently) will go toward the care of two dogs who were unfortunately surrendered to a rescue organization when their lovely owner passed away. mscasey111@greatstuff2find, bodies vary so much in shape and size! The cut has some volume, particularly in the chest area. But you're correct that it's not a swing or a-line shape. I'll get some more measurements up today. Maybe that will help. Also will see if I can find a neighbor to model the coat worn open so you can see what that looks like. Stay tuned!

greatstuff2findMuch to my sadness, because this is so stunning, I don't think it's going to work for me. However, if it's no trouble to take a picture on someone, that may be helpful. There is no hurry. This would be for a special occasion that is not happening for a while. (Unless someone else grabs this beauty before them!) Thanks again!

greatstuff2findThank you for the pics! I appreciate it! I really LOVE this jacket. It's gorgeous. My concern is that it is not a roomy 2x because of the chest measurements, and it appears to be straight up and down then a swing. I was thinking that this jacket might look just as good opened and unbuttoned and then it might fit. It looks like though that the front drape down to the bottom is not s straight up and down, and it wouldn't look right to wear it open that way. What do you think?
