Vintage Coach 5140 Standard Clutch British Tan Leather 1980s NYC Bonnie Cashin

Gorgeous vintage Coach No. 5140 Standard Clutch in classic British Tan, produced circa 1983–1985. Crafted in the USA from Coach's signature full-grain glove-tanned cowhide, this early piece showcases the substantial leather and timeless construction vintage Coach is known for. The original Coach catalogue identifies the 5140 as the Standard Clutch, measuring approx. 11" x 7" x 2". Features a full zip closure, exterior slip and zip pockets, attached leather wrist strap, brass hardware and early embossed Coach creed with serial No. 023-2051. Beautifully aged with rich patina, colour variation, scattered marks and edge wear consistent with its 40+ year age. Wrist strap shows heavier wear near the attachment; please see photos.
