Lovely "contento" pink and opal Murano glass bird figurine or paperweight display. Smooth blown-glass Italian origin, likely a Seguso piece. App 3.5" h. heavy for it's size, typical of the Murano glass and the era.In excellent condition for its age, has a small flake/ chip- nick on the end tip of one wing. Sharp, but not noticeable, especially when displayed. I'm have tried to show a close up in the back shot. Perfect for cabinet or small shelf show. Charming design adds a cheerful focal point. Soft pink color a happy energy for the period. Classic Mid-century appeal offers a collectible decorative accent.
