Tailored vest with a diamond quilt design, button-front closure, has a color change effect to the fabric from burgundy to black, and is fully lined for a polished look. Many of her vintage quilted fabric pieces were made of silk and were hand sewn. This piece is so well made and tailored beautifully. This vest dates back to the 80’s. This versatile burgundy shade pairs well with casual and dress outfits. There is no size or material tag. There are a couple of small areas where the material has split (see last 3 photos) which makes me think it is silk. Otherwise it is in really nice condition and a unique piece.
