Authentic vintage Les Must de Cartier shoulder bag in Cartier’s signature deep bordeaux smooth calfskin leather with gold-tone hardware. Dating to approximately the 1980s, this is from the original Must de Cartier leather-goods era and has some terrific period details: a large embossed oval Double-C medallion on the flap, substantial sculptural gold-tone strap hardware and a beautifully organized all-leather interior. And look at the pen slots! The interior is almost as good as the exterior. It opens to multiple compartments with a center divider, zip pocket and a row of leather organizer loops. Gold-tone interior plaque reads “les must de Cartier / Rd 1975 / Paris.” Adjustable matching leather shoulder strap. Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. Some wear/tarnish on hardware. Smooth calfskin shows surface scratches, light scuffing, creasing and areas of tonal variation/patina. Gold-tone hardware shows age-related surface wear and scratching.
