Florence Vase By Skye McGhie | Vintage Lidded & Footed Urn with Handles

A lovely lidded and footed jar with a real social commentary within the images. On one side of the vase, a working class family on their rural homestead is hard at work completing their daily chores, including the children. In the background, you can see a couple in a boat rowing. The other side shows that well dressed Victorian couple, with their pet dog, relaxing on the bank while the man fishes, enjoying their carefree day. The jar is in excellent vintage condition, without crazing, chips, or cracks. Made of fine porcelain, it is part of the Florence line. It stands 7 3/4" tall, length is 7 1/2" from handle to handle, and the diameter of the opening is just over 5 1/2". Truly a lovely and functional piece for your home. SKU 057
