This is a beautifully made vintage hippie era leather tote bag! The leather is thick hide with a smooth patinaed surface. It has some spots and scratches which is expected with a nearly 60 year old leather bag. There are some darker drip marks that are from being splashed with liquid soap. They may wash out with a good saddle soap washing. I used this bag for the last 10 years. It's sturdy and can hold heavy items very well. Tons of life left in it! The leather is thick and sturdy and still supple. No dryness. I no longer need it and have decided to part with it, so a new owner can enjoy it! Clean, unlined interior. Smoke free home. No funky smells to the leather. They don't make bags of this quality anymore!
