Vintage 1998 Handwoven Reed Basket with Blue Floral Fabric Weave, Artist Signed

Charming handwoven reed basket with a rectangular base and oval rim. Three rows of blue and pink rose lattice print fabric are woven through the sides for a sweet cottage look. The rim is finished with twisted seagrass and hand-lashed reed. Signed and dated "KCD 98" on the bottom, so this is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece from 1998. Perfect for storing yarn, mail, napkins, toiletries, or plants (with a liner), or just as farmhouse decor. Condition: Good vintage condition. Sturdy with no broken spokes. The seagrass rim filler is frayed in one spot and there is some light fiber fuzzing on the inside, as shown in photos. Priced accordingly.
