Vintage Tacoma Ice Delivery Co Advertising Ice Pick

Vintage advertising ice pick from the Ice Delivery Co. of Tacoma, Washington, dating to approximately the 1940s. The worn wooden handle has faded red lettering reading “Ice Delivery Co., Tacoma, Wash.” and black lettering with the refrigeration slogan “Cold Alone Is Not Enough.” A strong piece of Tacoma history connected to the era of household ice delivery and early refrigeration. Measures approximately 6.5 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 1 inch deep. Heavily worn vintage condition with fading and loss to the advertising text, darkening and surface wear to the wood, and oxidation to the metal pick and ferrule.
