Beautiful 1960s Victorian Revival Medusa intaglio charm pendant featuring translucent emerald-green glass set in an engraved gold-tone circular frame. Medusa, one of the three Gorgons of Greek mythology, was slain by the hero Perseus; her powerful image, known as the Gorgoneion, was later used as a protective symbol and famously appeared on the aegis of Athena.
