This is a stunning antique Eastern Orthodox sterling silver cross pendant, dating to the late 18th–19th century, crafted using traditional hand-casting and chiseling techniques. The front features a high-relief depiction of Christ crucified at the center, surrounded by four haloed figures—likely the Four Evangelists—within raised medallions at each terminal. The iconography is characteristic of Russian and Balkan Orthodox devotional crosses, often worn as pectoral pendants by clergy or lay believers. The back shows tooling marks and natural wear, consistent with its age.
