Vintage First Issue Made in USA 100% Cotton Red Raglan Sweater – Medium

Beautiful vintage First Issue (this brand used to be a part of the Liz Claiborne line) sweater in a saturated poppy/scarlet red. Made in the USA from 100% cotton with a substantial textured knit that has a wonderful weight and structure. The details really make this one — relaxed raglan sleeves with decorative fully-fashioned seam detailing, horizontal textured knit throughout, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a distinctive rolled neckline over a wide rib-knit collar. Tagged Medium with a generous, straight-cut vintage fit rather than a fitted silhouette. Approximately 23” across the chest and 26” long; please see measurement photos for full sizing details. Likely late 1980s–early 1990s. An easy piece to style in a much more current way — layered over a striped tee with denim, wide-leg trousers or a long skirt. Excellent vintage condition. No signs of wear and and no pilling.
