Vintage Green Amber Sommerso Art Glass Vase Ribbed Fluted MCM 12" Heavy

Striking vintage hand-blown art glass vase with dramatic emerald-green and warm amber/orange colour layering and a tall sculptural ribbed form. Heavy glass construction creates exceptional optical depth: the vivid green central colour appears nearly black where the glass is thick, while amber-orange outer sections glow brilliantly in transmitted light. Deep vertical fluting runs from the substantial lobed base through the elongated body to an organic scalloped rim. The layered colour construction is characteristic of the sommerso technique associated with mid-century art glass. There is one small smooth chip on the UNDERSIDE of the base which is not visible when the vase is standing/displayed. Base wear/scuffing and light surface marks are also present.
