Three Strand Spiny Oyster Turquoise Mosaic Inlay Bib Necklace Delbert Crespin

Delbert Crespin Santo Domingo 3-Strand Spiny Oyster Turquoise Bib Necklace Exceptional three-strand mosaic inlay bib necklace by award-winning Santo Domingo (Kewa) Puebloan artist Delbert Crespin. A spectacular example of traditional Puebloan lapidary artistry, featuring hand-cut geometric mosaic inlay and a dramatic cascading bib design. The necklace showcases a striking combination of turquoise, orange spiny oyster shell, black jet, and white shell/mother-of-pearl accents. The black elements are consistent with jet, while the luminous white inlay appears to be shell/mother-of-pearl rather than abalone. Similar documented Crespin pieces are identified with these same materials. Beautifully dimensional with three graduated strands and an impressive multi-drop centerpiece. The rich turquoise and vivid orange spiny oyster create an unmistakably Southwestern statement.
