This is a substantial, highly organized example from Gold Pfeil’s renowned Oxford leather collection, estimated to date to the 1980s. Crafted from rich brown leather in Gold Pfeil’s “Scotch” color/finish, the bag displays the warm tonal variation and character associated with the Oxford line. The structured accordion-style construction expands to provide considerably more storage than a typical flat document clutch. The front flap is secured by a distinctive gold-tone three-wheel combination locking closure, giving the bag the classic executive/business styling associated with vintage Gold Pfeil leather goods.
