CHRISTIAN DIOR John Galliano Black & Gold Lamè Floral Sheath Cocktail Dress SZ 4

From John Galliano's winter 2009 collection for Christian Dior, the fabric comprising this classic cocktail dress is about as opulent as it can be. The dress is black but completely covered in an oversized, gold lamé floral pattern. The dress has a boat neck, little cap sleeves, and it closes with a back zipper. The hem falls just a little below the knee. The fabric is a silk and cotton blend (38%/28%), and the remaining polyester content is the gold lamè. The lining is a black 100% silk charmeuse. Review the photos carefully because they too are part of the description. The best depiction of the pattern and color are in the second photo of the bodice. MEASUREMENTS* - Underarm chest measurement is 35" - Waist is 26" - Hips measure 36" at 8-9" below the waist. - Center back to waist is 14" - Total length is 40" down center back. *Do not rely only on the size label orestimated size to determine fit.
