Vintage Rosenfeld Sage Gray Velvet Evening Bag, Ornate Silver Kiss Lock Frame

A true vintage Rosenfeld evening bag with an ornate silver tone kiss lock frame, soft sage gray velvet, and a long mesh chain strap. Elegant, one of a kind, and ready for its next special occasion. Rosenfeld was a New York handbag house known for its beautifully made purses, and this one is just as charming in person. The frame has swirling scrollwork and a little cabochon at the center, and the kiss lock still snaps shut nicely. Wear it on your shoulder with the mesh chain or carry it by hand. Inside, it's lined in a pretty blush peach satin. It's in very good vintage condition. The velvet is clean with no tears, and the frame is sturdy. There is some light discoloration on the lining near the hinge, which is normal for its age, and I've included a close up photo so you can see it. The color can look a bit greener or grayer depending on the light, so I've tried to show it as true to life as possible in the photos. It would be perfect for a wedding, a holiday party, or a night out, and it makes a lovely gift for anyone who loves vintage. I'll wrap it carefully and ship it from my smoke free home.
