Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren Hand Knit Wool Cowichan Zip Sweater Coat Men's Small

Rare vtg Polo Ralph Lauren heavyweight handknit sweater jacket in gray and cream, made from chunky 100% wool with oversized Nordic snowflakes and geometric Fair Isle pattern motifs. Has full metal zip up front, substantial shawl collar, thick knit and the black polo jeans co USA flag label. This is a heavy, substantial piece that wears almost like a coat. Great for après-ski, rustic cabin, lodge, heritage western Americana, classic Ralph Lauren winter styling. Men’s size small. Measures approximately 19" pit to pit, 21.5" shoulder to hem, and 21.5" sleeve. NOTE: This is a special vintage piece being sold in as-is, TLC condition. There is a hole on one sleeve. Part of the zipper edge by the collar needs to be re-stitched back to the knit. The zipper is a little finicky to engage at the bottom, but once connected it slides smoothly. There is also some interior pilling at the back. No stains or odors noted. ALSO NOTE: I have intentionally left the repairs undone so the buyer can choose the restoration method they prefer. These are very repairable issues, but I am not a professional, and this is truly a collectible heirloom piece. I want the next owner of this to have their own choice in how it's repaired.
