Vintage E.A. Riba Co. Inc. framed wall art showcases a classic Fragonard-style courting scene on a porcelain medallion. The circular ceramic centerpiece is mounted within an ornate, openwork brass-tone metal filigree frame, set against a rich red velvet backing. The entire piece is housed in a unique hexagonal wooden frame with black and gold-tone detailing, capturing a romantic Rococo aesthetic. A sawtooth hanger on the back allows for easy wall mounting. Measurements: • Height: 9.25" • Width: 9.25" Condition Notes: Filigree Trim Repair: The ornate metal lace filigree overlay shows signs of vintage glue repair/reinforcement around its corner connection points where it attaches to the red velvet backing. There is minor residue visible upon close inspection (as shown in the close-up photo).
