Vintage Clear Glass Hen on Nest Dish Indiana Glass 7" x 6"

A charming vintage clear pressed-glass hen on nest covered dish, attributed to Indiana Glass and estimated to date circa 1935–1958. This earlier style features a finely stippled oval nest with a smooth, beadless rim, detailed molded feathers, and red-painted accents on the hen’s comb and wattle. A lovely addition to a vintage kitchen display or hen on nest collection, or a decorative holder for small treasures. This piece came from my great-grandmother’s glass collection, making it a treasured family item ready to be enjoyed by another vintage glass enthusiast. Measures approximately 7" x 6". No chips or cracks. The red-painted decoration shows wear and paint loss, particularly along the comb. Includes the hen lid and nest base pictured. Maker attribution and date range are based on comparison with documented examples; the piece is unmarked. Vintage and preowned glass may show minor age-related surface wear.
