2 Iroquois Blue Diamond Cup and Saucer Ben Seibel Informal China Mid Century MCM

Shown here is this pair of beautiful, vintage cups and saucers from Iroquois in the Blue Diamond pattern designed by Ben Stiebel. The inside of the cups are Bristol Blue and the exterior is white with a pattern of 3 diamonds on each side. The saucers are white on top with a Bristol Blue underside that shows slightly on the rim. From an original brochure about the Blue Diamond pattern: "An understated masterpiece of marvelous adaptability to either country provincial or elegant modern settings. Three floral diamonds in Bristol Blue and charcoal grey are lightly accented with yellow on a translucent white china background. Reverse side color repeats Bristol blue with magnificent, appealing clarity." The cups measure 4 1/8 inches across the opening and are about 2 3/8 inches high.
