Vintage Flower Basket Brooch UV Reactive Moonglow Cabochon Gold Tone Pin

Charming vintage mid-century flower basket brooch featuring an ornate dimensional bouquet set in a beautifully textured gold-tone basket. The open lattice basket is overflowing with sculpted flowers, leaves and curling stems, accented by vivid turquoise-blue and pink/red domed moonglow-style cabochons. The elongated basket handle and dimensional botanical details give this piece a wonderful 1950s/60s costume-jewelry look. An especially interesting feature is the reaction under black light: the pink/red cabochons fluoresce a vivid orange-red under UV, as shown in the photographs. They are being described conservatively as UV-reactive; their exact material/composition has not been laboratory tested. The reverse is unsigned with a traditional pin and rollover safety clasp. A fantastic piece for collectors of vintage floral jewelry, moonglow jewelry, figural brooches, UV-reactive jewelry and colorful mid-century costume jewelry. Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear, patina and areas of finish discoloration to the gold-tone metal. Cabochons pictured are present. Pin mechanism appears intact. Please review photographs closely for exact condition.
