Antique French Style Miniature Portrait Lady in Gilt Carved Wood Bow Frame - AS-IS This is an antique/vintage French-style miniature portrait depicting a noble lady in elegant 18th-century court dress, Marie Antoinette style. The portrait is in a round, hand-painted or gold gilt carved wood frame with a sculpted ribbon-bow at the top. The reverse retains its original aged brown paper backing, the original hanger and a vintage/modern auction or estate inventory sticker ("1884"). This sticker is an inventory lot number. PLEASE NOTE, CONDITION IS AS-IS PLEASE SEE PICTURES There is a clean, visible structural crack running completely through the bottom rim of the wooden frame. Otherwise, the structural housing, backing,hanger, and glass remain secure and stable. It is being sold exactly as found from an estate.
