RARE Dunhill Black Velvet Slippers, Prince of Wales’s Feathers Embroidery 10.5D

It has come to my attention that these slippers may have been designed in connection to a royal commission or warrant and I’m holding off on their sale while this is being verified. Rare Dunhill black velvet evening slippers, handmade and hand-embroidered in England. The vamp features gold and silver Prince of Wales's feathers with an "Ich Dien" ribbon, a fitting motif for Dunhill, which received its first Royal Warrant in 1921 as tobacconist to Edward, Prince of Wales. Quilted red lining with black woven Dunhill label, corded roll-bound topline, leather sole, and stacked heel. Sole has wear. Size 10.5D (standard width)
