The Louis Vuitton NéoNoé MM is a modern reimagining of one of the fashion house's most historic designs. History The original Noé bucket bag was custom-designed in 1932 by Gaston-Louis Vuitton. A Champagne producer asked the Maison to create a stylish, sturdy bag that could transport five bottles of Champagne at once without breaking them (four standing upright and one inverted in the center). In 2017, Louis Vuitton introduced the NéoNoé, updating the classic silhouette with a sleeker shape, structured interior, and colorful modern accents. Materials & Design • Exterior: The body is made from the iconic Monogram coated canvas, which is highly water-resistant and scratch-resistant. • Trim & Drawstring: The colorful drawstrings, eyelets, and straps are crafted from vibrant smooth calfskin leather in the shade Coquelicot (a bright poppy red). • Hardware: Outfitted with polished, gold-color metal hardware. • Interior: The inside is lined with a soft, red microfiber bonded lining. Unlike the original open bucket bag, the NéoNoé features a central zippered pocket partition that divides the interior into two main compartments, adding security for valuables. Functionality & Carrying Options The bag features a smart, adjustable leather strap equipped with press studs. This allows the user to easily configure it to two different lengths: • A shorter drop for comfortable over-the-shoulder carrying. • A longer drop to wear it completely crossbody.
