This carved jade costume necklace is vintage. There are leaf carvings on the stone. It is framed in silver tone with diamond cut to sparkle. The diamond cut chain with lobster clasp appears to be stainless steel. This is a beautiful necklace for being costume.
The jade may not be authentic as I am no jade expert. However the stone has weight to it and is cold to the touch. It is definitely stone and has the deep green color you would expect jade to have.
