She was born in Tongyeong, a small coastal town in southern Korea, where her father was a master craftsman who designed and created * Najeonchilgi - traditional Korean lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Growing up surrounded by his quiet artistry, she developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and refined detail. After studying Fashion Design and Art History in Seoul, Park worked as a designer for several Korean brands before moving to Los Angeles, where she continued her career in fashion. In the summer of 2015, an unexpected trip inspired her to establish her own label, Mijeong Park. With a tomboyish sensibility and a dislike for excess, she gravitates toward what is relaxed, understated, and quietly elegant. Her designs reflect that same spirit - simple yet refined, modest yet confident, honest and enduring.
