Coalport Bone China Hong Kong Demitasse Espresso Cup Saucer England Imari 1970s‎

Exquisite Coalport bone china demitasse or espresso cup and saucer in the retired "Hong Kong" pattern — one of Coalport's most beloved designs, produced from 1970 to 1993 and no longer in production, making complete sets increasingly difficult to find. The striking Imari-style decoration features cobalt blue, rust, and gold birds among lush peonies and botanical foliage on a crisp white ground, with gold rim and handle detail. Cup measures approximately 2.25" tall. Saucer approximately 4.75" diameter. Marked on base: Coalport Bone China, Made in England, AD1750, "Hong Kong," pattern number 7708. The AD1750 mark references Coalport's founding date. Condition: Excellent — no chips, cracks, crazing, or gold wear on either piece.
