Vintage East German Carl Zeiss Jena NVA 7x40 binoculars 3306057 IV-78

The Vintage East German Carl Zeiss Jena NVA 7x40 binoculars are a collectible piece with military significance. Made by the renowned optics manufacturer Carl Zeiss Jena, these binoculars have a 40mm objective lens diameter and a maximum magnification of 7x. Issued to the NVA, National People's Army in East Germany. These Binoculars are incased in a protective rubber case. They feature individual focus eye pieces, are waterproof with infrared detection capability. There is a built-in stadiametric reticle for distance estimation. Binoculars have a serial number as well as the manufacture date of November 1972 imprinted on them. The strap appears to be original and there are an extra set of lenses. Please be sure to view the photos, as the rubber on one eye piece is malformed. Binoculars work as they should and they're in great shape for 53 years old, all attachments are present.
