Here we have a modern classic. Long discontinued and heavily sought after. The Modern Made in England 1490 has a classic look that has set wearers apart from the pack for decades. This pair is extra special though. Starting its life as a standard pair of MIE black 1490s, they have been given a massive glow up. The plastic finish has been removed down to the leather grain. The boots were then dyed a rich oxblood color before being conditioned and repolished to a beautiful rub off shine. Also, teyelets have been upgraded to rustic brass for a touch of class. Without the coating limiting conditioning these boots will not succumb to the cracking problems that come with quilon and smooth leather. With their barely worn, still full pebbles soles these boots will last ages if you let them. This pair comes with 2 pairs of 550 paracord laces of your color choice. I currently have red, black, yellow, white, brown, gold and burgundy. Care instructions: these are wax finished. If you use acetone on them the finish could strip. Smooth leather conditioners should be used (from the inside if possible) and under absolutely zero circumstances should you touch these boots with Wonder Balsam or Dubbin. Use Bick 4 instead.
