* Authentic USGI: Genuine vintage U.S. military surplus gear. * Model: M18A1 Chemical Agent Detector Kit carrying case. * Era/Time Period: Circa 1950s/Cold War era production. * Manufacturer: Stenciled with the historic ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph) logo and the stylized crown trademark for ITT Federal Laboratories. * Material: Heavy-duty, rigid olive drab (OD) cotton duck canvas with vintage web binding. * Hardware: Heavy brass directional "Lift-the-Dot" front closure snap, side snap tabs, and a metal D-ring mount. * Interior Features: Multi-tiered accordion canvas storage slots, a vertical hook-and-loop compression strap, and side component sleeves. * Dimensions: 6-1/4 inches tall by 8-1/2 inches wide. Missing one metal side D-ring. The case originally featured a web tab and metal D-ring loop on both sides for a shoulder strap; one of these D-ring assemblies is missing from the side of the pouch.
